Members of the InnoSi consortium and other researchers from around Europe took part in the international scientific conference “Social investment and development” organised by ESPAnet  at the University of Warsaw on the 22nd and 23rd September, 2016. Monika Klimowicz and Małgorzata Michalewska- Pawlak from University of Wrocław presented the latest results of research about the using the process tracing method in evaluation public policies based on experiences from the InnoSi project. They also organized and chaired the conference panel entitled Social investment – new paradigm of welfare state or political strategy in the time of austerity?

As part of this panel, Gavin Bailey (Manchester Metropolitan University) presented ‘A helping hand: A case study in re-engineering public services for personalisation and integration’, drawing on InnoSi case studies to discuss social investment and personalisation.
